At Basic-Fit, you can find your balance with our Live Pilates and Yoga group classes and app workouts, all led by certified instructors. It’s the perfect way to tone up, release stress and find your inner balance.

Ready to give it a go? The Tree Pose, a balancing posture that helps improve focus, stability and calming your mind. Let's bring one foot up and find our centre in the Tree Pose. Check out our favourite Pilates workout for strength and toning: Let’s get rolling!

If you are interested in connecting breath, body and mind, then have a look at one of our Yoga classes. Namaste!

Calisthenics

Calisthenics is a form of exercise that uses bodyweight to build strength, endurance and coordination, with a focus on natural body movements. The basic calisthenics movements are Push-ups, Pull-ups, Squats, Planks, Dips and Burpees. At Basic-Fit, a lot of our app workouts include bodyweight exercises. We also have Live Group Classes like Functional, Grit, HIIT, BodyPump, and Strength Development that incorporate these principles, all led by expert instructors. If you’re new to calisthenics or want to give it a try, check out this beginner-friendly Plank challenge.

How It Works

Every day for 7 days, you’ll hold a plank for a little longer than the day before. Start small and work your way up - you’ll be amazed by how much stronger you feel by the end! Plank Challenge Plan:

  • Day 1: Hold for 20 seconds
  • Day 2: Hold for 30 seconds
  • Day 3: Hold for 40 seconds
  • Day 4: Hold for 1 minute
  • Day 5: Hold for 1 minute 10 seconds
  • Day 6: Hold for 1 minute 20 seconds
  • Day 7: Hold for 1 minute 30 seconds!

HIIT

HIIT (High-Intensity Interval Training) is all about short intervals of intense exercise with quick rest breaks. It’s the ultimate calorie-burning, strength-building workout and it’s fast!

The best part? It’s super dynamic and could be short. Sprint, squat, burpee, or mix it up with jumping jacks - no equipment needed. With the Basic-Fit app or Basic-Fit YouTube channel, you can follow quick, guided sessions from anywhere, anytime.

Want extra motivation? Join one of our HIIT-inspired group classes like Sprint, Grit, or Functional, led by expert instructors who keep the energy high. Let’s Go For It!

Running

Running is one of the most accessible forms of exercise, requiring nothing more than a pair of good shoes and the willingness to take the first step. It’s a full-body, cardio workout that strengthens your heart, builds endurance and burns calories. It also offers so much more than just physical benefits. It’s a kind of meditation that helps to clear the mind. Every run feels like an escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. With every step, you’re building discipline, increasing stamina and boosting your mood. In the Basic-Fit app you can find an 8-week running plan for Beginner and Intermediate fitness levels.
